§ 32.13 AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICY.
   (A)   The city approves and adopts a policy to insure equal opportunity in employment for all persons; to prohibit discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, non-job related mental or physical handicap; to promote the full realization of equal employment opportunity through a continuing intensive affirmative action program within the city; and to be an integral part of every aspect of personnel policy and practices in the employment, development, advancement, and treatment of the employees of the city to the maximum extent possible.
   (B)   The city, as evidence of its intent to comply with basic policies and procedures necessary for effective, uniform, and judicious enforcement of equal employment opportunity standards, adopts an affirmative action plan which is incorporated herein by reference.
   (C)   Council authorizes the E.E.O. officer to prepare the appendix referred to therein and to monitor, evaluate, and revise the plan when the E.E.O. officer finds it necessary. (Ord. 74-1977, passed 1-4-78)
