§ 155.053 MAINTENANCE OF ROOFS, GUTTERS, DOWNSPOUTS AND CHIMNEYS.
   (A)   The roof of every building shall be installed and maintained structurally sound, weathertight and shall not have defects which will admit rain into the interior. Gutters and downspouts when installed shall be maintained structurally safe, sound and in good repair. Roofing material shall be in good condition and not be hanging or loose.
   (B)   Chimneys shall be maintained structurally sound, in good repair and so that the seal to the interior is weathertight. Chimneys shall be free of deteriorated, loose or missing mortar, and missing, broken or deteriorated bricks or flashing.
   (C)   All exposed surfaces of metal or wood shall be protected from the elements and against decay or rust by periodic application of weather coating material.
