The occupant of any dwelling unit or rental space in a nonresidential building shall keep all supplied equipment and fixtures under his care and control in a safe, clean and sanitary condition, and shall be responsible for exercising reasonable care in the use and operation thereof. The occupant shall not deposit any material in any supplied fixture resulting in stoppage or damage and shall be responsible for improper care or neglect. The occupant shall be responsible for hanging screens and storm doors or windows except if the owner has agreed to supply such services.
