§ 155.020 INSPECTION AND NONLIABILITY.
   (A)   It shall be the primary duty and responsibility of the PMO to enforce this PMC. The Chief Building Official, Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau, Superintendent of Public Works and the Health Commissioner shall be jointly responsible with the PMO-A for all provisions of this PMC pertaining to their respective departments, and as such each shall be authorized to make inspections of any premises. Inspections shall be coordinated to minimize inconvenience to any owner, operator or occupant.
   (B)   The PMO shall issue all necessary notices and orders to abate illegal or unsafe conditions.
   (C)   No officer or employee of the City shall render himself personally liable for any damage that may accrue to persons or property as a result of any act required or permitted in the discharge of his duties under this PMC. Any suit brought against any officer or employee of the City as a result of any act required or permitted in the discharge of his duties under this PMC shall be defended by the Law Director of the City of Springdale until the final determination of the proceedings therein
   (D)   Inspections are made by the City solely for the public purpose of enforcing this PMC. No representation is made that any order issued pursuant to this PMC contains a complete list of all violations which exist on the premises, nor shall the City accept any responsibility whatsoever to any person, firm, or corporation for any damage done or injury suffered as a result of poor workmanship or unserviceability of any work done or materials used pursuant to such order, or as a result of the failure of any person, firm or corporation to correct the violations listed therein, or because of any failure to inspect or failure to order the correction of any condition or for any reason whatsoever. All owners, occupants, invitees, guests or other persons using any premises which have been repaired pursuant to the provisions of this PMC, shall do so at their own risk, without remedy against the City, its officers or employees.
