§ 152.27 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
   (A)   A certificate of occupancy shall be obtained before which time it shall be unlawful to occupy a building. The applicant for such certificate will be obligated to certify that the building substantially complies with all provisions of this chapter and amendments hereto.
   (B)   The applicant will be subject to penalties provided in § 152.99 if he files false information on his application for final inspection, and the owner will be subject to such penalties if he allows the building to be occupied before final inspection has been made and a certificate of occupancy has been issued.
   (C)   Application for this certificate shall be made to the Building Official on the form provided and the established fee paid. The certificate of occupancy will be issued upon examination of the improvement by the Building Official and verification that the improvement substantially complies with the building code.
