The Building Official may accept, in lieu of the final or other inspection by him, a certificate of approval or report of inspection for any part of any work made by any engineer, expert, bureau, or board recognized by him as authority in that part of the work, provided the certificate or report for that part of the work shall be based on the provisions of this code and all other laws and resolutions to the same subject matter.
