(a) No parent shall knowingly permit a minor to remain in or upon a public place or an establishment during the curfew hours.
(b) This section shall not apply to a parent who accompanies a minor, to a parent who directs a minor upon an errand or other legitimate business, or a parent of a minor engaged in gainful lawful employment during the curfew hours or to a parent of a minor who attends any entertainment in accordance with Section 634.02.

(c) Whoever violates this section, after receiving notice of a prior violation, as provided in Section 634.05, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
