(A) It shall be unlawful to permit any dead or unused wires to hang or remain on any pole, tree or house where the same have been formerly connected and in use, but all dead wires shall be taken down and removed immediately upon notice by the Chief of Police.
(B) It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department to notify the Chief of Police whenever the officer has knowledge of these existing conditions.
