(A) No person shall perform body art on a person who is less than 18 years of age except as permitted by law.
(B) This section does not apply to any act of a health care professional (as defined in I.C. 16-27-2-1) licensed under I.C. 25 when the act is performed in the course of the health care professional’s practice.
(C) A person may provide body art to a person who is less than 18 years of age if a parent or legal guardian of the person receiving the body art:
(1) Is present at the time the body art is provided; and
(2) Provides written permission for the person to receive the body art.
