123.01 DUTIES.

The Recorder shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the governing body and shall preserve the original copy of all ordinances in a separate ordinance book, shall be acting Mayor when the Mayor is out of town or unavailable due to illness, and shall assume the office of Mayor in the event the Mayor becomes totally disabled or dies.
