921.07 SEWERAGE SYSTEM CHARGES.
   (a)   Applicability. Applicable to the entire territory served.
   (b)   Availability of Service. Available for general domestic, commercial, industrial and interdepartmental sewer service.
   (c)   Rate.
 
   (1)   Based on the metered amount of water consumed per month:
      First 2,000 gallons used per month      $9.03 per 1,000 gallons
      Next 3,000 gallons used per month      7.41 per 1,000 gallons
      Next 25,000 gallons used per month    6.75 per 1,000 gallons
      Next 70,000 gallons used per month    6.33 per 1,000 gallons
      All over 100,000 gallons used per month   3.89 per 1,000 gallons
      
No monthly bill shall be rendered for less than $18.06 based on 2,000 gallons of water used.
      (2)   Based on unmetered water supply:
Residential and Commercial Offices - $36.59 per month.
   (d)   Delayed Payment Penalty. The above tariff is net. On all current usage billings not paid in full within twenty (20) days, ten percent (10%) will be added to the net current amount unpaid. This delayed payment penalty is not interest and is to be collected only once for each bill where it is appropriate. No bill shall be considered delinquent any sooner than 30 days from the billing date. Any current penalty assessed shall be waived if the customer has paid his/her previous bills consistently within a 30-day period.
   (e)   Service Connection Fee (Tap Fee). A connection fee of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) is charged for each new connection.
   (f)   Reconnection Charge. A reconnection charge of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be made to restore discontinued service.
   (g)   Returned Check Charge. Whenever a check is returned for insufficient funds, a service charge of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be charged. Once a check has been returned, checks will not be accepted from the organization or individual for a period of twelve months.
   (h)   Leak Adjustment Increment. $1.27 per 1,000 gallons to be used when the bill reflects unusual consumption which can be attributed to eligible leakage on customer’s side of the meter. This rate shall be applied to all such unusual consumption 2.5 times above the customer’s historical average usage. Leak adjustments are available to a customer once every twelve months.
