The Township Board may require formal agreements or the posting of an irrevocable letter of credit, certified check, or cash bond or such other surety sufficient to guaranty the proper performance of required improvements or materials to meet the provisions and the intent of this chapter. Where a bond, irrevocable letter of credit, or certified check is provided, it shall be of such form as approved by the Township Board.
