Preliminary plats shall be submitted to the Township Clerk at least three weeks prior to the next regular meeting of the Planning Commission. The following procedure shall be followed:
(A) Submit ten copies of the preliminary plat to the Township Clerk;
(B) Submit to the Township Clerk a filing fee as established by the Township Board resolution;
(C) An application form shall be completed which, at a minimum, shall contain the following information:
(a) The applicant's name, address, and phone number;
(b) Proof that the applicant is the owner of the property or has a legal or financial interest in the property such as an option or a purchase agreement;
(c) The name, address, and phone number of the owner(s) of record if different than the applicant;
(d) The address and/or parcel number of the property;
(e) Project description;
(f) Gross and net size of the parcel in acres.
(D) The Township Clerk shall retain one copy of the preliminary plat, and forward copies to the Planning Commission, and if deemed necessary, the Township Engineer and Planner.
