In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this chapter shall be held to be minimum requirements adopted for the promotion of public health, safety, convenience, and general welfare. It shall be administered to insure orderly growth and development, to protect, and conserve land and natural features, and adequately provide for streets, utilities, and other land improvements in the township.
