(A) Code adopted. Pursuant to § 9 of Act 230 of 1972, as amended (the “Act”), being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531, the township assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the state’s Mechanical Code throughout its corporate limits.

(B) Administration and enforcement. The township hereby assumes responsibility for administration and enforcement of said Act throughout the township.

(C) Enforcing agency. The Building Inspector’s office of the township is hereby designated the enforcing agency that shall discharge the responsibility under Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531.
