§ 71.09 SPEED LIMITS.
   Unless the governing body of the town stipulates specific speed limits for vehicles, the provisions of the state law shall govern as follows.
   (A)   A vehicle may be operated on any street of the town, designated elsewhere in this traffic code as a through highway, at a rate of speed not exceeding 35 mph; provided, however, that, at no time shall the speed be greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions then existing.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person, or persons, to operate any motor vehicle upon any street in the residential section of the town at a greater rate of speed than 25 mph.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to operate any motor vehicle upon any street in the Business District of the town at a greater rate than 20 mph.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to operate any motor vehicle, while in the town, across any street intersection or around any street corner at a greater rate of speed than 15 mph.
