§ 99.20 TREES NOT TO BE PLANTED IN STREETS AND PARKWAYS; PERMIT REQUIRED FOR OTHER PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to plant any tree or bush in any public street or parkway. It shall be unlawful to plant trees or bushes in any other public place without having first secured a permit therefor. Application for a permit shall be made to the City Clerk and shall be referred by him or her to the Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvements.
   (B)   All trees and shrubs planted subject to this section shall be placed subject to the directions and approval of the Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvements.
