(A) Street and utilities. Employees are paid weekly based on an hourly rate schedule.
(B) Police. Officers will be paid weekly based on an hourly rate schedule. All work schedules will be referred to as weeks or days (not hours) due to the department schedules being run on a rotating basis. To maintain predictability, officers will be paid 42 hours per week (average of 48 hours and 36 hours). If officers work extra shifts, are required to stay over, attend training, or court, these hours will be added to their total of 42.
(C) Clerk-Treasurer. The Clerk-Treasurer is paid weekly and a salary exempt employee. The Deputy Clerk Treasurer is paid weekly based on an hourly rate schedule.
(D) Part time. Part time employees are paid weekly based on an hourly rate schedule.
(E) Additional compensation. The President of the Town Council may choose to offer de minimis non-reoccurring (bonus) compensation to recognize exceptional individual employee performance, service milestones, or holidays. Any such compensation shall be solely at the discretion of the Council President and total less than 0.1% (1/1,000) of the employee's regular annual wage in a given year.
