§ 95.16  SPECIFICATIONS.
   (A)   All sidewalks constructed or replaced after the effective date of this subchapter shall be constructed 48 inches in width, except in cases where the construction is in a gap between previously existing sidewalks in the same block, in which case, the new construction shall be the width of the wider sidewalk adjoining the new construction, but no less than 48 inches in width. All sidewalks shall be concrete not less than four inches in thickness and the surface of the sidewalk, when completed, shall have a slope of one-eighth-inch to the foot toward the center of the adjoining street. The elevation of all sidewalks hereafter replaced or constructed shall conform with the elevation of the adjoining sidewalks. All sidewalks shall be constructed with the inner edge on the property line or right-of-way line.
   (B)   Where sidewalks are to be constructed or repaired across driveways and alleys, the new construction shall not be less than six inches in depth.
   (C)   Variances from the location and material and other specifications set forth herein may be obtained, upon application, from the Town Council, who shall approve variances by the adoption of a special improvements resolution.
