§ 31.02  CLERK-TREASURER.
   For provisions concerning the Clerk-Treasurer, see I.C. 36-5-6-1 et seq.
   (B)   For provisions concerning the Clerk-Treasurer as the Clerk of the legislative body of the town, see I.C. 36-5-2-8.
   (C)   The Town Council shall give the Clerk-Treasurer the authority to determine if an adjustment shall be given for a utility account in the amount of $50 or less (with a possibility of a total of $150 with a combination of all utilities or a variation of such).
   (D)   The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to deem certain claims as allowed under I.C. 5-11-10-1.6(c)(5) prior to individual Town Council consideration. Such claims shall be strictly limited those audited and certified claims incurred in the regular course of operations for which delaying remittance would incur hardship, penalty or additional cost. The allowance and payment of every such claim shall be presented to the Town Council for ratification at its next available regular meeting.
