§ 53.20  SECURITY LIGHTING.
   (A)   Availability. This service is available for dusk to dawn outdoor lighting service for lighting entrances, driveways, and other private areas to customers who are located on the utility’s electric supply lines suitable and adequate for supplying the service requested.
   (B)   Character of service. The utility will install, own, and maintain a bracket-mounted suburban- type lighting fixture including photoelectric control.
   (C)   Rates.
      (1)   Where the lighting fixture can be installed on an existing distribution type wood pole or other supporting device and served from existing secondary facilities, with not more than one span of secondary, the monthly rate shall be:
         (a)   $2.28 per light for 175 watt mercury vapor lamp if the electricity is furnished through the customer’s metered supply;
         (b)   $4.00 per light for 175 watt mercury vapor lamp if the utility furnishes the electricity;
         (c)   $6.28 per light for 400 watt mercury vapor lamp; and
         (d)   $13.70 per light for 1,000 watt mercury vapor lamp.
      (2)   If additional facilities are required to furnish service hereunder, the utility will install, operate, and maintain these facilities. The labor, material, and overhead cost of installation of the additional facilities and maintenance expense thereof shall be at the customer’s expense.
   (D)   Term of service. Any customer requesting service under this rate shall make written application for service for an initial period of one year. Service shall continue from year to year thereafter unless cancelled by either party.
   (E)   Reconnecting charge. Whenever the service is turned off for nonpayment of a bill, or whenever for any reason beyond the control of the utility a reestablishment of service is required by any one customer more often than once in a 12-month period, a charge of $10 will be made by the utility to cover a part of the cost of discontinuance and reestablishment of service.
   (F)   Conditions of service.
      (1)   The utility shall adjust the automatic control on each night. Lamp replacements and repairs will be made within a reasonable period of time, during regular working hours, after customer’s notification of the need for maintenance.
      (2)   The facilities installed by the utility shall remain the property of the utility and may be removed by the utility if service is discontinued.
