An owner, operator or occupant, having been notified as provided in Section 1462.03 of an existing violation and havmg failed to correct the violation within the time specified in the notice, shall be fined according to Section 1462.99 and/or, shall suffer the structure to be demolished or repaired by an agent of the Village. The cost thereof, having been submitted to the owner, operator or occupant and remaining unpaid for a period of thirty days, shall be certified by the Fiscal Officer, with a forfeiture of five percent thereon, to the County Auditor who shall place such costs and forfeiture on the tax duplicate and collect such costs and forfeiture in the same manner as other taxes are collected.
