1446.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; INSURANCE.
   (a)   A person, firm or other entity, prior to engaging in, or being employed as responsible for, installation, replacement or construction of any of the following, shall obtain one or more of the following licenses and registrations:
      (1)   Electrical;
      (2)   Sewer and excavating;
      (3)   Warm air, steam or vapor heating;
      (4)   Air conditioning;
      (5)   Ventilating;
      (6)   Masonry and brick laying;
      (7)   Cement laying;
      (8)   Structural construction, rough carpentry, steel contractor;
      (9)   Roofing;
      (10)   Exterior siding;
      (11)   Gas piping;
      (12)   Contractor, as defined in Section 1446.08(a) who directly contracts with the owner of any building, structure or appurtenance thereto.

   (b)   Such person, firm or other entity shall file proof of insurance with the Village in an amount of not less than three hundred thousand dollars/five hundred thousand dollars ($300,000/$500,000) for bodily injury, premises liability and product liability and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for property damage, to the satisfaction of the Solicitor and the Building Inspector. Separate insurance proof shall not be required if any one person, firm or other entity is licensed or registered in more than one of the categories enumerated in subsection (a) hereinabove.
