(A) The Village Clerk shall supply to the owner of the automobile, motor truck or motorcycle, registered in his or her office, as herein provided, one number decal for each automobile, motor truck or motorcycle, which shall be conspicuously displayed thereon and shall be firmly attached to the windshield of the automobile, auto truck and firmly attached to some part of the motorcycle, and shall, at all times, be kept clean and free from all grease and dirt.
(B) The type of number decals to be used shall be designated by the Village Board.
