§ 70.01 MOTOR VEHICLES TO BE LICENSED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any resident of the village to use any automobile or motorcycle or truck which he or she owns over or along the streets, avenues, boulevards or alleys or public premises within the village, unless the automobile, motor truck or motorcycle is licensed as hereinafter provided.
   (B)   It is hereby made and declared unlawful for any village resident, owner or operator, lessee or owner-lessee to use or permit the use of any motor truck having a capacity of more than 8,000 pounds, or over, upon and along the public streets, avenues, boulevards, alleys or public premises within the village without having first applied for and obtained a license as is hereinafter provided.
