(A) (1) Any person desiring a water connection as provided for in § 51.01 above shall pay a fee of $1,000 to the village prior to the installation of the tap-in. A meter shall be furnished by the village. In tapping the water main, the contractor shall use a brass corporation cock with threads on both ends.
(2) The fee for any tap on any line larger than two-inch shall increase by $250 per half inch.
(B) It shall be tapped into the main, not less than 14 inches from any joint in the main. The contractor shall install the service in compliance with the Plumbing Code contained in the B.O.C.A. Code, as adopted in Chapter 6 or the State Plumbing Code, whichever is more strict.
(C) All water tap and service connections made to the mains of the waterworks system of the village shall conform to the regulations of this chapter and of the State Plumbing Code.
