Unless stated otherwise in this chapter, all construction of public improvements shall be performed in accordance with the current edition of the State of Illinois Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted by the State Department of Transportation, and the current Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in the state. If an engineering design or construction situation arises not covered by the above cited standard specifications or in the following sections, the decision of the Village Engineer shall be followed.
