Every person carrying on the business of building contractor, plumbing contractor, heating-air conditioning contractor, electrical contractor, insulation contractor, energy utilization equipment contractor, or otherwise engaged in activities for which permits are required by this chapter, and within the jurisdiction of this chapter, shall register at the office of the Inspection Division giving name, address, type of business, number of any license required by G.S. Ch. 87 and the number of any Town privilege license.
