§ 72.06 REMOVAL FROM STREETS.
   (A)   Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle standing, stopped or parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter, such officer is hereby authorized to move the vehicle or to require the driver or other person in charge to move the same to such a place as will not interfere with the use of the streets and highways as herein prohibited.
   (B)   Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle unattended in any street where such vehicle constitutes an obstruction to traffic, or the use of the streets, driveways, sidewalks and other public places in the village, such officer is hereby authorized to cause the removal of such a vehicle to a public garage or other place of safety, and the expense of such removal and storage in such public garage shall be paid by the owner or operator of said vehicle.
