(A) The sediment control and drainage plan shall be forwarded to the Soil and Water Conservation District and Planning Engineer for review. If the plan conforms to the requirements of this chapter, the Planning Engineer shall approve the plan upon receipt of a written approval from the district and issue the permit to the applicant.
(B) The flood control plan shall be forwarded to the Planning Engineer for review. If the plan conforms to the requirements of this chapter, the Planning Engineer shall approve the plan upon receipt of a written approval from the district and issue the permit to the applicant.
(C) If the application for a sediment control and drainage plan or flood control plan is denied, written notification of such, indicating the reason or reasons for denial, shall be forwarded to the applicant within ten (10) days after denial.
(D) (1) Review of any submitted plan shall require 30 days from the date of submittal until the time a decision need be rendered, either approval or denial. If, at the end of the 30 day period a decision has not been reached, a status report shall be forwarded to the applicant indicating the progress of the review.
(2) Additional 30 day review increments shall automatically accrue at the discretion of the reviewing authority according to its requirements.
(E) If an application is denied, the applicant may elect to correct the indicated deficiencies in conformance with the provisions of this chapter and resubmit the application to the Department of Planning and Development with no additional fee assessed.
