§ 158.169 SIGNS PERMITTED IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS.
   (A)   Exempt and temporary signs. Signs exempt from these regulations as listed in § 158.166 shall be permitted in all zoning districts. Temporary signs, listed in § 158.168 shall be permitted in all zoning districts.
   (B)   Residential subdivision and group development signs. Permanent signs displaying no information other than the name of a residential subdivision, group housing development, or apartment complex shall be permitted. Mobile home park signs shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 152, Mobile Home Parks. Such signs shall not exceed 50 square feet in display area. No more than one (1) sign shall be permitted along each street frontage. Such signs shall not exceed a height of four (4) feet if located within a required setback or six (6) feet if located elsewhere. The height restriction does not apply to gateway structures to residential development exceeding ten (10) acres in total size.
   (C)   Public and institutional signs. Signs relating to uses of a civic, charitable, fraternal, cultural, religious, educational, institutional or governmental nature shall be permitted as follows:
      (1)   In C-1 district, as per the provisions regulating business signs in § 158.170; and
      (2)   In C-1, signs shall not exceed 50 square feet in display area. Such signs shall not exceed a height of four (4) feet if located within a required setback or six (6) feet if located elsewhere.
