§ 92.05 SETTING THE STONE.
   (A)    It is required that all monument work be designed and executed in such a manner as to insure the most permanent construction. To this end all memorials, mausoleums, monuments, or other memorial structures must be constructed of granite from recognized quarries, or of standard cast bronze of approved composition, all of which are guaranteed by responsible producers. Temporary or homemade monuments are prohibited unless permitted by the Village Manager.
   (B)   The monument traditionally sits at the west end - the head of the grave - facing east. Anything placed at the east end - the foot of the grave - must be flush with the ground. Variations to monument placement may be permitted. No more than two monuments per grave.
   (C)   Depending on the size and placement of the stone, some graves may be rendered impossible to use. The village is not liable for those graves. Except in the case of cremations, there shall be only one burial per grave. Two cremations may occupy one grave, or one burial and one cremation.
