Section 18. The president of the Village Commission, the village clerk and the village treasurer shall be the trustees of the sinking fund and any bond given by either of such officers shall be held also to secure the faithful performance of his duties as a trustee of the sinking fund but the Village Commission in its discretion may require an additional bond to be given by such trustees.
