Section 7. At eight o’clock p.m. on the second of January following a regular municipal election, or if such day be a Sunday, on the day following, the Village Commission shall meet at the usual place of holding the meetings of the legislative body of the village, at which time the newly elected commissioners shall assume the duties of their office. Thereafter, the commission shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by ordinance or resolution except that it shall meet regularly not less than twice each month.
The president, any two members of the commission, or the village manager, may call special meetings of the commission upon at least twelve hours written notice to each member served personally or left at his usual place of residence. The notice of special meeting provided for herein may be waived in writing if waived by all members of the Village Commission. Notice of special meetings shall be deemed conclusively to have been waived by any member of the Village Commission who is present at such special meeting.
Except as hereinafter provided for the holding of executive sessions, all meetings of the Village Commission shall be public and any citizen shall have access to the minutes and records thereof at all reasonable times. The Village Commission may hold an executive session at any regular or special meeting for the sole purpose of considering those matters which are specifically provided for by Revised Code Section 121.22 (G) as is in effect on the date of passage of this amendment or as thereafter amended.
