Section 3. Each member of the Village Commission, shall have been immediately prior to his election and during his term of office shall continue to be a resident of the village and shall have the qualification of an elector therein.
All candidates for the office of Village Commissioner as well as any incumbent Village Commissioner seeking re-election shall be subject to the election laws of the State of Ohio.
No member of the Village Commission shall be interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, job work or service for which moneys of the Village are being expended. Except as otherwise provided for by or under this Charter, no Village Commissioner shall hold any other elected office except that of membership of county central committee of the political party of which he is a member.
Any member of the Village Commission who shall cease to possess or who violates any of the qualifications of office herein provided or who is finally convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude shall forthwith forfeit his office. Forfeiture of office as provided herein shall not render void or shall not invalidate any action of the Village Commission in which such member participated.
