(a) Traffic Violations. Every person convicted of a violation of this Traffic Code for which another penalty is not provided shall, for a first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or by imprisonment for not more than ten days; for a second such conviction within one year thereafter, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment for not more than twenty days, or both; and upon a third or subsequent conviction such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than thirty days, or both.
(b) Parking Violations.
(1) The following shall constitute an updated list of fines as included on the "summons" form, as issued by police officers of the City:

(2) The officer has the discretion of making the ticket a warning ticket by writing the word "warning" on the face of the ticket and initialing such wording.
(3) Any violations of parking regulations which are not mentioned above shall be written by the officer making the citation in the blank spaces numbered 18, 19 and 20 on the face of the ticket, in compliance with Section 361.03 and other relevant sections.
(4) After fifteen days, the City may issue a warrant as a result of nonpayment of any of the fines set forth in this subsection and there shall be added thereto a warrant fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
