167.66 EDUCATIONAL REIMBURSEMENT POLICY.
   (a)   Only full-time City employees with at least one year of continuous service are eligible;
   (b)   The college courses must be courses directed to a degree related to that employee’s job duties;
   (c)   The course of study and eligibility must be approved by that employee’s department head and the Mayor; and
   (d)   The funds must be budgeted for the employee’s department; and
   (e)   All reimbursement is subject to the approval of the Mayor; and
   (f)   Reimbursement will be made as follows:
      (1)   For a grade of “A” the reimbursement will be for books and tuition;
      (2)   For a grade of “B” the reimbursement will be for tuition only;
      (3)   For a grade of “C” the reimbursement will be for books only; and
   (g)   If the employee leaves City employment for any reason within one year of completing the college course then those funds reimbursed for education will be repaid to the City.
