167.56 ADMINISTRATION OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM; EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY OFFICER.
   (a)   Responsibility and authority for administration of the City's affirmative action plan has been delegated to the Mayor.
   (b)   To assist in the responsibility for implementing and carrying out the City's affirmative action program shall necessitate the cooperation of every member of the staff. All managerial and supervisory staff shall be made aware of the program and the importance of their assistance in making it effective.
   (c)   The person assigned the responsibility of the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer shall be responsible, under the direction of the Mayor or his representative, for coordinating the administration of affirmative action program efforts among the various departments within the City.
