There is hereby created a Commission for the Promotion of the Visual Arts. This Commission shall be the partial successor to the commission created by Resolution 1153. Said Commission shall consist of nine members appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council, all of whom shall be residents of the City and one of whom shall be a member of Council. All members shall serve for a period of one year or until their successors shall have been appointed and shall have qualified.
