The Human Rights Commission may call upon other officers, departments and agencies of the City government to assist in its hearing, programs and projects. The City Attorney shall render legal opinions to the Commission, including the duties of hearing examiner, upon request made by the Commission or by the chairman, and upon approval of Council. At its discretion, the Commission may accept volunteer services of private legal counsel.(Ord. 1451. Passed 5-3- 84.)
