This article shall be enforced by the Building Inspector. Whenever it shall be necessary in the opinion of the Building Inspector in order to carry out or enforce any of the provisions of this article or any rule or regulation of the Department of Buildings in connection with electricity, he may and shall have authority to call on the Police Department for aid and assistance, and it shall be the duty of the Police Department, when called upon by the Building Inspector, to cooperate with the Building Inspector in order to enforce or put into effect any of the provisions of this article or any rule or regulation of the Department of Buildings in connection with electricity.
