As an addition to the requirements of the International Code Council and American Standards Institute, there shall also be a site plan showing to scale, the size and location of all new construction and all existing structures on the site, distances from lot lines, the established street grades and the proposed finished grades, and it shall be drawn in accordance with an accurate boundary line survey, which survey shall provide for iron pins at all property corners. Location of the proposed new construction shall be staked in the field by means of field surveys performed by a registered engineer or a licensed surveyor. In the case of demolition, the plot plan shall show all construction to be demolished and the location and size of all existing structures and construction that are to remain on the site or plot. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the City Engineer, in his discretion, may grant an exception to the above requirements for new construction of a minor nature.
