(a) “ANSI” means American National Standards Institute, 25 West 43rd Street, Fourth Floor, New York, NY 10036.
(b) “ASTM” means American Society of Testing and Materials.
(c) “BOCA” refers to the Building Officials and Code Administrators International.
(d) “Building Code” includes all aspects of safe building construction and mechanical operations and all safety aspects related thereto.
(e) “CABO” refers to the Council of American Building Officials.
(f) “Fire Marshal” means the West Virginia State Fire Marshal and/or his designated representatives.
(g) “ICC” or “International” means International Code Council.
(h) “NFPA” means National Fire Protection Association.
(i) “State Building Code” means the entire contents of this article and the referenced Legislative Rule of the West Virginia State Fire Commission, 87 CSR 4, and the referenced international and national codes therein.
(j) “State Fire Code” means the entire contents of the State Fire Code, 87 CSR 1, and the referenced standards and codes.
