1375.04 RULES OF CONSTRUCTION AND INTERPRETATION.

For the purposes of these Subdivision Regulations, the following rules of construction and interpretation shall apply:

(a) The word "person" includes an individual, a corporation, a partnership, an incorporated association or any other similar entity.

(b) The present tense includes the future tense, the singular number of the plural and the plural number of the singular.

(c) The word "shall" shall be interpreted as mandatory; the word "may" is permissive.

(d) The phrase "used for" includes "arranged for," "designed for," "intended for," "maintained for," or "occupied for."

(e) The word "lot" includes the words "plat" and "parcel."
