1329.04 C-2 LOCAL RETAIL DISTRICT.
   (a)   Intent. Local retail districts are designed to provide for the most frequent needs of residential areas. They include a limited range of retail stores and personal service establishments. Since these establishments are required in locations convenient to residential areas and are relatively unobjectionable in these areas, this district is widely mapped.
   (b)   Permitted Uses. Uses permitted in the C-2 District shall be as provided by Section 1329.01.
   (c)   Permitted Accessory Uses. The following uses shall be permitted in the C-2 District:
      (1)   Signs, as regulated by Article 1345.
      (2)   Off-street parking area not to exceed an area equal to the total retail floor area of the district.
      (3)   Any accessory buildings customarily incidental to a permitted use.
   (d)   Conditional Uses. The following uses shall be permitted only by special permit in the C-2 District:
      (1)   Uses permitted according to Section 1329.01.
      (2)   Similar retail and service uses which are, in the opinion of the Municipal Planning Commission, of the same general character as those uses referred to above.
