10-3-1:   SIGNS PERMITTED IN NON-RESIDENTIAL USE DISTRICTS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any sign in a non-residential use district designated now or hereafter established in the zoning ordinance except the following, and no sign hereinafter permitted pursuant to this section shall be illuminated unless otherwise provided.
   A.   A street address sign identifying the unit or building shall be provided using six inch (6") tall numbers.
   B.   Non-residential real estate signs such as "For Sale" or "For Rent" are subject to the restrictions as required under section 10-4-1 of this chapter.
   C.   A sign pertaining to the lease or sale of a development of at least five (5) acres or more upon which the sign is located, provided such sign shall not exceed thirty two (32) square feet single face or sixty four (64) square feet multi- face, with an eight foot (8') maximum height per development. No off-site signs shall be permitted.
   D.   Temporary signs pursuant to subsection 10-4-1D of this chapter not to exceed thirty two (32) square feet in area on each of the two (2) display surfaces for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days.
   E.   One sign only, identifying a contractor, architect, engineer, and subcontractors engaged in the construction of a building upon the property which the sign is located, provided such sign shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet in area and no more than six feet (6') in height. Such signs shall be removed immediately following initial occupancy of said building. (Ord. 2018-1173, 2-8-2018)
