(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, except a peace officer in the discharge of his or her official duty, to discharge any firearm within the city.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge gravel, marble shot or any projectile missle, object or material out of a gravel shoot or blowgun, air gun or rubber sling or compressed gas, compressed air or spring device; provided, however, this section shall not be construed to prevent the use of compressed air devices in delivering handbills, circulars and newspapers.
