§ 150.02  NUMBERING BUILDINGS.
   (A)   The purpose of this section is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of persons and property within the township by requiring that proper identification numbers be affixed to all buildings and/or mailboxes within the township so that specific properties are readily identifiable to fire, police, ambulance, postal, and emergency personnel, as well as members of the general public having any need to locate said properties.
   (B)   (1)   The owner/owners and/or occupants of all premises located within the township shall forthwith securely affix thereto the identification number which has been assigned by the county. The number shall be affixed to the primary residence or building in instances where said residence or building is clearly visible from the road or street to which the identification number corresponds. In cases where the residence or building is not clearly visible from the road or street, the required number shall be affixed to the roadside mailbox or other fixture adjacent to the road or street.
      (2)   The identification numbers required by this section shall be at least three inches or more in height and shall be of a color which sharply contrasts with the color of the surface to which the numbers are affixed.
