(a) There is hereby established the position of Manager of City Facilities. The Manager of City Facilities shall be appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Article V, Section 5(b) of the City Charter. The Manager of City Facilities shall report directly to the Mayor and shall perform such duties as may be required by the Mayor and/or pursuant to the position's job description on file in the Human Resource Department.
(b) The Manager of City Facilities is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings, inspection of facilities, determining the method of maintenance and/or repair, formulates building maintenance procedures and conducts annual audits of all city buildings.
