In order to determine the effectiveness of methods of traffic control different from the provisions of this Traffic Code or during times of emergency, the Director of Public Safety may regulate traffic flow or change parking regulations for a period not to exceed 30 days without the necessity of amending the Traffic Control Map and File as provided in § 406.06.
